yes! ping pimpin pins!!! ang bandang shirley pins! bili naaaaa! too bad i was a bit broke... wonderful pins though. joey shooting like no tomorrow!
deltajoy played first. some parts i liked. energetic. funny lyrics too.
nabitin ako sa UDD. fantastic as always! what else is there to say?
outerhope played a very very mellow set. i think this is the second time ive seen them. did they play at the graphic fiction awards? very indie pop.
eggboy!!! yeah! i overheard from someone na parang eggboy remixed daw. naging NIN daw sabi ni diego. i asked him to play "hurt" lol. the guy on the drum machine had a kabayo!!! im stuck with "lost with you" LSS! was hanging out with diego prior to the set and he gave me a copy of eggboy 98-05! shite. naiiyak ako. thanks diego!!!
my first time to watch marty mcfly! i forgot that mark from the beauty of doubt also played bass for them. we were like: "hey! i know you!!!" it was strange seeing him outside BoD... anlayo kasi ng tugtugan! lol. now im a fan of both bands!
now blast"mudderpakkin'"ople got on and brought the place down! quark was kickin and jumpin and grrrinding and lap-dancing and camera-lickin!!! girls and grown men were screaming! it was nearly a dance party chaos with mikey! note to self: always invite your students to your bands gig! lol. crazy!
finally ang bandang shirley went on. i cant believe the vocalist is in sooo many bands. hilo na ko by this time and i was trying to catch some fresh air somewhere else.
there were also video screenings from isaw sa kanto productions and spork for short. the new video for daydreamcycle was just lush and technically solid!

the most incredible pinoy music video EVER! YES, im absolutely sure this is the most awesome pinoy video ive ever seen! now, im no purple chickens fan, but jeeeeezuskrayst! i picked up my jaw from the floor after watching the vid. all the time i was watching it all i could say was: shitshitshitshit now, move over linklater... all the frames in the entire video were done in watecolor! imagine waking life done by hand in watercolor! my eyes were nearly welling up in tears. alfhafhaslfhsadlf purple chickens: dream systems 2 years in the making by director luna cruz and the artist society! there she was standing by the doorway, i wanted to talk to her and congratulate her for a job well done. but i couldnt. starstruck and all. just like how juki behaves when wawi is around. lol. but seriously, much respect and kudos to all those who were involved in this! analog baby!!!
